To reach Hurricane Pass at 10,400 feet on the Teton Crest, follow the South Fork of Cascade Creek to climb through broken conifer forests as the trail circles west of the Grand Teton. Toward the head of the drainage, the trail leaves tree line in favor of scree fields, wildflower meadows, and glacial moraine between Middle Teton and Table Mountain. The trail swings along the north side of a turquoise lake filled with glacial flour and ascends to the pass with views of Schoolroom Glacier, a total climb of 4,200 feet.
